Christmas...A little late!

I just wanted to give a little update of our Christmas holiday! Chris and I flew out to FL on the 21st to spend the holiday with my family! Chase did great on the plane and has been spoiled rotten ever since we got here. We have spent lots of time talking, eating, and well eating.... My dad says he has never seen me have such a hardy appetite. It was a great Christmas with the family and we had so much fun spending time together and meeting Baby Carter. The only thing that was really missing from this Christmas was our sweet little Grandma!

Here are a few pictures from the holiday... ENJOY!

Still more news....

Yesterday Chase had his 6 month appointment! It went great considering that he had to get the nasty shots. The doctor was very impressed with him and said that he is advanced for how well, he is sitting up and where he is at in trying to crawl. Of course Chase put on a great show of bouncing up and down while sitting, and trying to sit up every time the doctor tried to lay him down. If you haven't noticed I have my hands full already with this little guy! He grabbed the doctors stethoscope with his death grip and pulled it right off his neck and made a lot of rips in the paper that he should have been patiently sitting on.
What can I say....He is a handful!
Weight- 18.12 Lbs (58 percentile)
Height- 26.6 Inches (44 percentile
)

Farley Family Christmas!

After the doctors appontment we headed to pick Chris up, made a few stops and then met up with Chris family for another night of Christmas fun.....First stop, The Chuck-O-Ramma. After we ate dinner we headed over to UVSC to watch "The Farley Family Christmas!" This was a great show....Basically we are all there for the Farley family Christmas reunion. Everyone has to where name tags and then you watch this guy do a oneman show of all these different characters in the Farley Family. It was lots of fun and lots of laughs! Chase for the first half of the show had his wide eyes watching every movement of the stage and even laughed at some of the things going on. The second half he fell asleep, but I don't blame him it had been a long day and I was tired too. With having shots he was great....This will definitly be a family tradition for us!

This was pretty much Chase's eyes the whole first half of the show!
Waiting for the show to start!
Adam waiting for the show to start...I think he was a little bored with the show within the first 10 minutes! :) Not enough action for a kid his age!

Lots to Share!

Well, I have a few things I need to post about this past week! If you get bored while reading no worries, I just haven't had time to blog some of our past weeks events. So stay in your seats....here we go!
Chris Work Christmas Party!

This past weekend we had Chris work party. It was a little overnighter in Park City so it was our first night leaving Chase. Everyone kept asking me how I was doing, and I have to admit I was fine....He was in GREAT hands with his Aunt Melissa. We called and checked on him a few times and I know that he was having a great time with all of her fun entertainment that she provides. The party was lots of fun, we stayed up at the Canyons and had dinner, and had a murder mystery dinner. Chris won a giftcard to Nordstrom which got handed over to me so I could not complain. It was a great evening all and all. The next morning Chris got up and went sking and I headed to the outlets with some of the girls.

Cameron Christmas

Last night we celebrated our Christmas with the Cameron Family. Carolyn and Vic, and Ted, Sara, and the kids came down. We had a nice Christmas dinner and opened gifts with everyone. We will miss them this year at Christmas, but are excited we got to spend sometime together before we head to Florida. We ate, opened gifts, watched Mr. Kruegars Christmas, and of coure played a little Rock Band. The kids were so cute to watch on all the instruments! A good time was had by all!

Adam was so cute! Everytime he ripped off the smallest piece of paper he would run to the trash, so we finally brought a trshbag to him! He got a mud slinger truck to ride he was SO excited he kept saying, "Get it out Ted!"Drew got a slurpee machine. He let us know this is great because they would not have to go to the 7-11 anymore!Pokemon....Couldn't get a better gift for this littl guy!Little Shelby...Lot's of activities to keep her busy!

Chase- 6 Months 1 Week Old

And last but not least here is our weekly update of Chase! He is now 6 Months 1 Week old. Of course I think that he is the cutest thing ever. His 2 bottom teeth have come in pretty well and now he is getting 4 top teeth. It seems like they are coming in so fast and it is so crazy to see. He is really trying to crawl right now and figure put how to be mobile. I don't know if that is a good or bad thing. Usually he gets caught under the coffee table and starts screaming. I try to tell him if he rolls under there he is going to get stuck, but that may take sometime for him to understand. If he can't scoot where he wants to be he rolls, whatver works.... He is now a tummy sleeper too. Everytime I go into his room to check on him after he goes to bed he is on his tummy! I would put put him back on his back and go back in and he would be on his tummy again. I have to admit I like to sleep that way too! He is full of the cutest noises and seems to make new ones that make us laugh everyday. He had is first overnighter with Aunt Melissa and he did a great job! He has his 6 months appointment today so more updates to come...

Happy 6 Month Birthday!

Here Comes Santa Claus!

Chase got to go and visit Santa today! It was so cute! Chase loves to touch faces and was very intrigued with Santa's beard. He kept turning around and trying to grab it, lucky us we got a good shot with him turned forward!

Chase is on the Santa's nice list this year and I am sure will be spoiled rotten!

6 Months Old!

Chase turns 6 months old on Sunday! I can hardly believe that he has been with us for 6 months now! Time goes by way to fast and I love to see the little milestones that he hits everyday! Right now if I had one word to describe Chase it would be DROOL! He is like my own little personal water feature. He has the cutest little personality and is full of smiles and lots of new noises everyday! He is kinda like his mom, he likes to hear himself talk. :) The new one that he has been making the past few days is hearing himself cough, he has this fake little cough and I have to admit it is kinda cute. (He got that one from Chris....)

I AM THAT MOM...
Yep...I am the mom that overreactS and take there baby to the doctor for teething. I always said I would never be the mom who worries over the small things, but I guess sometimes you just can't help it when you care about something so much. Chase is a pretty good baby, not very fussy at all and when his first teeth came in I had no idea because he just isn't a fussy baby. Well this round of teething has changed. On Sunday Chase was very fussy and pulling at his ears all day long so of course the only thing I could assume is that he had in ear infection. Well....I was way off. He is just teething, hence all the drool. He has one top tooth and incisor coming in. When the doctor walked in he said, "This baby is too happy to be sick..." I let him know that he better be prepared to see me lots because it looks like I am going to be that mom. I did get to find out his weight while I was there and was suprised he was only 19lb 5 oz. I was for sure he was going to be over the 20lb mark. We will see where he is it again in a few weeks when I take him in for his 6 month appointment.

Chases favorite things at 6 months right now is reading, bathtime, his Johnny Jumper, and sucking on anything and everything that he can get in his mouth. He loves to make lots of noises and hear himself talk.

My happy little guy!

My little drool bucket!

Chase and his sippy cup! I think he likes a straw a little better, but he really likes to chew on the this if nothing else.

Oh Christmas Tree!

OH CHRISTMAS TREE!
Well we got our tree up last week, and I have to admit....I AM EXCITED! I don't know what it is about putting the tree up, but I could sit for hours and just at stare it. I love the season, I love the decor, and I just love the spirit that Christmas brings to all! I love putting the tree and up and try for to get it as perfect as possible. This year I started working on it and then noticed that I had not taken a box of ornaments out. So I took everything back off the tree and started over....There is an order to perfection! Well, it is not perfect, and I change it everyday, but I do love it!
