Girls Day....Boys Play!

While we have a girls day it always gives the boys an opporunity to play! Wait...That is every Saturday! :) This week we had Nalani's baby shower, it is always a good time to get together with the girls and Ohhh and Agghhh over all the cute and fun gifts. I am so excited for her and cannot wait for her cute little guy to get here. It just isn't soon enough and I am sure she will agree. While the girls were at the baby shower the boys of course went snow mobling. Chris loves going and pretty much spends most Saturdays when the snow is good on his snow mobile. It was a great Saturday....We love spending time together and we love spending time with our friends so we got the best of both worlds! Baby Shower Time!
Yep, you may not reconize him under the mask, but that is Chris.

My Super Saturday

Saturdays during the winter for me are never very much fun. I am not really into any winter sports, so coming up with things to do is always a little harder for me during these months. Chris on the other hand loves to snowmobile and ski so his Saturdays are pretty booked. With this in mind, Amy and I decided that we would fill our Saturdays with craft projects that we have been wanting to do. Before Chase was born I wanted to do his name with the scrapbook paper and block letters. Well the procrastinator I am it never got done and here were are 7 months down the road and it is still not completed. My advice to those having kids....if you want to get something done get it done before the kids come. We started the day by hitting some craft stores to find the supplies we would need to get our projects done. We then headed to Betos for a yummy California Carne Asada burrito, which I recommend it is my favorite! We we were going to eat inside, but while we were pulling in we saw the craziest thing...a guy walking into Betos with no shoes on. I don't know what was crazier about it, the fact the he has no shoes on in 20 degree weather, or the fact that he was walking into Beto's barefoot....Drive Thru it was! All in all in was a great day. The project turned out so cute and we only had a few issues, a little bubbling on the paper at first and then I cute my finger! Shocker! Here are some pics of our eventful day!

7 Months Old

Chase turned 7 months old this week! All I can say is we have our hands full with this little guy! He has lots of energy and is everywhere now. He really has just the best little personality and is forever bouncing up and down. You would think everything around him is just so exciting. This week we had a playdate and alot of his friends came over. It is so cute to see all the kids together and to see them grow. They all have such fun personalities and have fun ways of showing excitement. Chase likes to bounce up and down, while his friend Payton makes the cutest exciting breathing noises. It was fun to have all the girls over, and although I don't have pics to share, I hope that we will do it again soon!

Chase right now is forever trying to stand. It is so cute, yet I wish that he would just enjoy the crawling period so I am not always having to hold him up. Now when I walk into his room in the mornings, or from naps he is standing at his crib waiting for me to come and get him. He always starts off with little ooh's and agghhh's and if I don't come in right away he will let out a shreak! Persitant little guy!Akways trying to stand up!Grabbing a drink on the go!Come and get me mom!
So excited to see my mommy!

My little mover and shaker!

Well this past month has been crazy and I have not had given the weekly updates like I usually would. I decided because I have not been so great that I would just recap the month of Decemeber of our cute little guy! I feel as if Chase has grown and changed so much this past month. He turned 6 months old and I feel that has unlocked the gate for him to be mobile. He is now crawling all around the house and getting whereever he needs to go. I have to admit it is very cute when you see him coming your way, but it seems like there is so many things for him to hit his little head on. Seems like I will have to get rid of the coffee table, entertainment center, paino....JK! We just have to keep an extra eye on him. Everytime I look over he is trying to pull himself up on the coffee table. I let him know that he should just enjoy this time of crawling. We had a great month and flew to FL again for Christmas he was great on the plane and got lots of love from everyone. His favortie treat now is bananna puffs and he loved shoulders rides from his Uncle Josh and Matt. Everytime they put them on his shoulders he would just pat their heads and giggle. It was a great month and we can hardly believe that he will be 7 months old soon. They grow up so fast that you just have to take in every moment that you spend with them.
Chases favorite things at 6 months old: Reading, Singing, Eating his favorite treat, the gerber puffs, Rolling, and now crawling. He also loves his sippy cup with the straw in it.
Dislikes: Baby Food (he would rather have our food mashed up, the doctor says, "Do you blame him")...we will keep trying, changing his diaper (he tries to roll away from you), Cleaning his nose
Uncle Josh giving Chase one of his many shoulder rides.
Now its Uncle Matts turn. Chase loved hanging out with his Aunts Chase trying on Daddys hat.
