Just some more pics...

A few weeks ago a friend of ours came and took some pictures of Chase for us. These are some that will be used on the announcement (if I ever get it out). As you can see in most of the pics Chase is wide awake. The crazy thing about it is it was pretty dang late and we were in our basement taking pictures until about 11:30 pm.

7 Weeks Old

I am getting SO big!

Chase turned 7 weeks old on Friday so I am getting this post out a little late. He is getting big and is very strong. Based on a scale in the Gardner home it looks like he is about 12 or 13 lbs, but I will find out his for sure weight when we take him in for his 2 month appointment. He is very long as well, and I will be interested to see what his length is when we take him in.

We are having lots of fun with him. He is responding more and more each day and loves to smile. My favorite time with him is in the morning when he has just woken up that is when we have Chase and Mommy time. We have that 24/7 in all reality, but I love how alert he is. He is very talkative and this is when he is the happiest. I love being a mom and I love having him in our lives. I never knew a little one could be such a handful, but we have loved every minute with him and are so excited to see him grow up.Chase and Mommy Time

Daddy and Chase time! Chase had some gas one day and was fussy. Chris wrapped him in the body pillow and Chase just sat and stared at Chris for 45 minutes completely content. Who knew a body pillow would make him so happy!

Wild Hogs....Roll Out!

Chris went on his annual bike trip. It is a trip that he looks forward to all year long. This year 13 guys were supposed to go but, at the last minute there was a little bike trouble for some so only 11 ended up going. Each year they go up through WY and hit the Beartooth Rally and then hit scenic areas like Yellow Stone. I cannot give you lots of details since I was not there, but here are some pics of the boys trip this year.Look at all those bikes and testosterone. (Beartooth Pass)

Both Chase and I missed Chris TONS while he was on his trip! When Chris got home he needed a nap and so did Chase! How Cute!

5 weeks and growing like a weed!

Here I am over 5 weeks old now. I will be 6 weeks on Friday and I am growing like a weed! I try to keep my mommy on her toes by getting her out of bed a few times throughout the night, just so she knows I am thinking of her and that I want to spend some quality time with her. This week has been full of LOTS of events for me. My Aunt Michelle, Uncle Mike and Matt, and cousin Jathan came on Tuesday and I was so excited to meet them. Aunt Shelly spoiled me rotten and held me every chance she got. She even got up with me a few times in the middle of the night so that mommy could get some extra rest, I am sure that my mom loved that!
Grandaddy and Grandma came in on Friday! That was a late night for us all, since mommy and daddy were picking them up from the airport. They did not get home until after midnight, but it was perfect so granddaddy could help with one of my late night feedings. Daddy and the guys got up early on Saturday morning to go see the hand gliders and then we all headed out to Snowbird for fun activities. They went on the Alpine Slide and the he Zip Line and then we all headed up together on the tram. My first time on big mountain.

On Sunday the day was all about me because it was my blessing day! I got all dressed in white and it was perfect. My dad said the most beautiful things about me and gave me a great blessing. Afterwards everyone came over for lunch, which Grandma Coates slaved over! She is the best! We had lots of people there and lots of people donated food as well.
As for me I am growing like a weed and getting bigger every day! I am not sure how much I weigh, but the rolls on my legs and arms shows that am getting lots of yummy food from my mommy! I have started smiling, and will give you smiles if I think you have something funny to share with me. Although I am waking my mom up through the night, I did sleep 5 hours througout the night which is a big accomplishment and mom is so proud. Maybe I will do it more in the future, but I am back to waking up about every 2 1/2 to 3 hours again. Well that is my week update! More to come soon!

As everyone knows Chris and I are very healthy eaters! OK, that is not completely true. If anything we eat worse than any of our friends. Our pantry is always full of junk food and fattening goodies for when we have a little craving. Well on Sunday we decided to have a fried food fest. We fried up some corn dogs and pierogies, and would have done fries as well if we would have had any. Well before I know it I look over and Chris has the biscuits out and is making donuts. He was very proud of his little Sunday night treat and they were yummy!

4 Weeks Old

Chase is already 4 weeks old and growing fast! I am not sure what his current weight is, but with the way that he eats I am sure he is getting enough nutrients to get him by! His Grandma Cameron has been spending a lot of time over here spoiling him, and he loves it. Grandma Coates will be here next week so I am going to have LOTS of help with all the aunts and Grandma's around. We have already seen so much personality in him. His big accomplishment was when he rolled over from his stomach to his back! (I know that sounds crazy!) He is not the biggest fan of tummy time and one day surprised both Chris and I by rolling from is tummy to his back. We were both in disbelief so we put him back on his tummy, and sure enough he did it again! He is one strong little boy, and I think we are going to have our hands full!

Chris is already working on him holding his bottle....next....potty training! ;)

Now it's our turn!

Here we are! The Cameron Family is finally blogging. This will be a great way for us to post new things about Chase and keep everyone up to date on our little family! Things are going great right now. Chase is already 3 1/2 weeks old and growing so fast. At his 2 week appointment he was already 8lb 7 oz and had grown over an inch. He spends most of his little life sleeping and eating (Shocker!), but we are having LOTS of fun with him and learning new things everyday about him and his little personality! He loves his daddy and gets to have tummy time with him every day after work...his favorite! Below I have posted some recent pictures of him, which my mom has been dying to see. We will keep you posted on things that are going on so stay tuned to the latest blogs!
