Grants 5 Year Old Check Up

So here we are, my little five year old at his 5 year check up getting ready for kindergarten. (Sniff,sniff) Really I cannot believe that he is getting so old. He still seems like my baby, but I guess I will just have to let him go. He was a little worried about his shots because Chase had such a bad experience and decided to keep telling Grant every detail of how bad it would be. I say and talked to Grant and let him know that it would not hurt that bad and said, "Please don't scream like your big brother did" He was a champ and did not scream or cry or anything. In fact no emotion at all. Funny thing is we got home and he wanted the bandaid off and then the crying came. Funny boy!

These Moments

Sometimes I sit and ponder how really lucky I am! It easy to let time fly and forget to take in those small little moments that you will miss one day, but tonight as I sat on the couch and I watched the little guys in my life and Chris I knew things for me were just the way I love them(Pretty much close to perfect). It was something so simple as watching them play piano, dance around the house, and watch old Jackson Five you tube videos, but all of it was surrounded by love. Love that these little guys have for there Dad. They want to be just like him and try to do everything he does. So I had to capture this small moment. Nothing big, very small actually, but a little picture that will stay with me forever! Love these moments, and love these boys.
