Can it really be that my baby boy is 2 years old! Wow has the time flown by. Well what can I say about this sweet little boy of mine. From day one he has kinda been a Mommas Boy. (Well and a Grandma and Aunt Melissa's boy). He has added such a different spark to our family! He is full of life and loves to Chase after his big brother. Everything that Chase does he wants to do and I honestly think it is so cute. He loves, loves, loves to read and sometimes you will just catch him sitting in a corner jabbering a way at a book that he has open. His vocabulary is getting much better, although there are still a few things that I cannot understand. He really gets his point across though and lets you know what he wants, or needs. He definitely is a lot more feisty than Chase was, but it also easy to get over things when he is upset. One of my favorite things about my little guy is time outs. Everyone knows around this age there are a few breakdowns and the best thing about Grant is that he sends him self to time out. Wow, he really takes the work out of it for us. :) We are so happy to have this little guy as part of our family! Happy Birthday Baby Boy, we love you!

Well the movie Cars 2 came out this weekend, and just like the rest of the world we were SUPER excited to see the movie. We decided what better way to see the movie than to watch it at the drive in. So we headed to the drive in with the Chase Family and Aunt Melissa. It was a great night! The boys loved the movie, and loved the fact that we were watching it in the car. A perfect summer activity, with great friends! Hey what can I say, I love the drive in!

I love the relationship that my boys have with there dad. It is so cute already to see how much they want to be like him. Whether it be riding motorcycles, or helping him fix something they love to be by his side helping there daddy and spending time with him. It moments like these that I love just to have a glimpse of. Chases 4th Birthday!

Where has the time gone? Is my little guy seriously already 4? Honestly it seems like I just brought him home, and now he is off to preschool and before I know it he will be starting kindergarten. Kinda makes me feel like I am getting old, but I would not change it. This past year has just been full of adventure and fun for both me and my little guys. Chase started preschool, this past year, played lots of sports, and has made lots of new friends. He honestly is a little social butterfly and has little knocks numerous times during the day to see if he can come out and play. If it were up to him he would be outside all day long with his friends playing. He never gets tired of being outside and riding his bike. He loves his little brother and talks about him all the time. They are really becoming the best of buddies and love spending lots of time together. Right now Chase loves pizza, shepards pie, cheeseburgers, and really loves anything that I make with pork. He also LOVES green beans and could eat that for a meal. Honestly Chase is the sweetest little guys, with the best temperament. He is such a little pleaser and just wants to make everyone happy.

There are so many things that Chase is into, but he loves Jake and the Neverland Pirates so we thought to celebrate his birthday pirate style. It was such a fun day centered all around my little guy and I wouldn't have it any other way. Heck, that is what birthdays are all about!Happy Birthday!Favorite Breakfast......Donuts! The Shaving of the Heads

There is a tradition in the Cameron Home. (Well atleast for Chris) At the beginning of the summer we shaves the boys hair. So we thought, "What the heck, the boys should join in the tradition?" Both boys were excited to be like Daddy and the shaving of the head began. I am not quite sure Chase loved his hair, but it was a fun night and I think my boys are cute with or without hair.

Aunt Melissa came over so we could celebrate her birthday! The boys were so excited to give her gifts and help her blow out the candles. We did chocolate eclairs. :) Hey it works! Then we headed off to dinner with the girls. The boys were sad that they could not come, but were happy to spend a little time with Aunt Melissa on her birthday!

Oh finally! A fun little get away for Chris and I. Vegas with some of out friends to watch Super Cross, what could be better? It was full of fun, good friends, shopping, motorcycles, food, and of course LOTS of time by the pool. I honestly could not have asked for a better Mothers Day weekend. Although I missed my kids, I had such a relaxing, pampered weekend. And really, what more could you ask for on Mother Day? Thanks Chris for a great weekend! Can't wait until the next!

Easter Ski Weekend

We spent Easter Weekend this year in Montana with the whole family! We were worried there may not be snow, but it was a great weekend with lots of skiing and good times with the fam. We skied, ate, did a little karaoke and just enjoyed each others company! It was such a fun weekend. Melissa went with us, and on the first day Jenny, Brad, Melissa and I headed off for a lesson. We each felt pretty confident after wards and had a great time, just trying to get things figured out. Chris headed off to ski with Ted, and the kids well they got time with Aunt Michelle on the magic carpet. Needless to say, her hands were full. I was so proud of Chase. He wanted to spend a lot of his time on the magic carpet and was determined to get his pizza and french fries down on his skis. He was was so dang cute and I could not be more proud as I watched him do it over and over again just trying to do it right. Grant also got his first try at the skis. He too did a good job! Hey they both did better than what mom did her first time. It was such a great weekend, and we look forward to doing it again!

Ski Weekend

Thanks to Aunt Michelle, Chris and I took a weekend off and headed up to Montana to spend a ski weekend with her at the YellowStone club. It was a perfect weekend. I think I came home a TON of bruises on my bum, but we had a great time. A perfect Valentines weekend with my hubby that is for sure. Now as everyone knows I am not a great skier....so first things first was to put me in a lesson so that everyone else could go and enjoy there time. I had a great teacher and have to admit thought I was getting good until I went down a hill that I considered a little to steep for me. I think Chris and Michelle had a little bit too much confidence in me and I had none. It was a great weekend. We had great food, good company and I learned to ski. I am so excited to show off my skills on the family ski trip in the spring. Thanks to Michelle and Niel for a great weekend!

18 Months Old

Grant is 18 months old! As the old saying goes, wow how time flies. He is growing up fast and continues to amaze us with his cute little personality. Chase and him are really beginning to play. I often hear giggling from another room and find those 2 sitting just laughing and of course when Grant is done with Chase then we start to hear the little squeals and screams. He really has the cutest little smile and is very expressive with his lops and mouth. You will not get a better pouty mouth from anyone else because he has perfected his. He is constantly jabbering and believe it or not most words I can pick out. He is saying quite alot of things latley. His favorite movie right now is Toy Story 3 and he walks around saying Buzz. If he even hears the movies coming on and squeal and starts clapping his hands and jumps up and down. Not Toy Story is cute, but I honestly love to turn it on just so I can see is reaction. (Cutest thing ever!) Now this poor guys has been through the ringer with ear infection. Since 6 months old he has had a total of 7....Lame I know! The funny thing is half the time we don't even know just because he is such a happy little guy. Now he does has his moments and will let you know when he is not happy, but for the most part he is a happy little guy and is the happiest when he is eating. (Hence the 27 lbs) He has no fear and is willing to try anything and giggles and laughs at things that most kids would be terrified of. Now on that note....He loves his mamma! He will really go to anyone, but he does have a preference for me and LOVES to be help by me, which is not always so easy when your kid is 27 lbs. We are just so blessed to have this little guy in our lives and look forward to many more year hugging and loving on him!

Words He is Saying: Buzz (Anything toy story and walks around and says this) Chase, Dance (Most time when music starts he wants everyone to dance with him and will say this over and over), Cheese, Thanks, Boobers, Bad, Blankeez (Blanket), Dosh (Josh), Milk, Bed, Mine, No, Yes, Peez...and so much more! These are just of the top of my head.

Still loves his blankets, and is kind of a blanket hoarder. I mean really he will steal anyones blanket. Sometimes he is walking around with 3 or 4. Weight- 27.6 lbs (72.97 %tile)

Christmas Day 2010 (Part 2)

After our Christmas Festivities we headed over to Carolyns house for Christmas dinner. It was the first time since we have been married that all of Chris brothers and sister were able to make it for Christmas Day. Michelle actually flew in the morning of Christmas to surprise Carolyn. It was great to all be together in Carolyn's new place and to be able to spend Christmas together. We had a great time eating, opening gifts, eating, sharing stories, eating, and just being together....and did I mention eating? Hope that we will be able to spend more Christmas together in the future!

Christmas Day 2010 (Part 1)

Wow! Christmas was so much fun this year! I can honestly say there is nothing more fun than seeing it through the eyes of your child. I really think I was more excited than the kids. Every time a gift was bought or an activity was planned I just could not wait to see how the kids would react. Honestly on Christmas morning I woke up early and say and waited to hear the kids wake up....Nothing! So I got in the shower and got ready for the day and then FINALLY we went out to get ready for the kids and get them up. Aunt Melissa stayed the night and when I walked out had Christmas music playing and Skype up so that Granddaddy and Grandma Coates in Florida could be a part of our Christmas out here. We got the kids up and it was everything I imagine. The excitement of Chase was SO cute! He came out with the biggest smile, and said, "Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me?" Grant and Chase got right to looking at there toys! I really think they got everything they wanted. Chase asked Santa for two things every time a helicopter and monster truck with a remote control! He was very happy to see that Santa had brought him a monster truck, and his Daddy got him a helicopter. The day started off great! Presents, Breakfast, and Family! I really could not have asked for a better day! I am so blessed that I was with the my husband and kids, and that my sister was able to join us for Christmas morning. They each did so much to really make it the best day for me! Most of all at this time of year I am so grateful for our Savior. He really is the reason for the season and if there is anything I can do, I hope to teach my kids that he is the center of Christmas and the reason for celebrating. Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve 2010

I always love Christmas Eve. The anticipation and just the feeling of the day is the best. For me it is better than Christmas Day itself. We had a great Christmas Eve with Aunt Melissa, The Udvardy's, Grami Cami, and Uncle Ben! It was honestly a perfect night! We had lots of food, tracked Santa, and sangs songs. Uncle Ben told the story of the Grinch and the kids could not take there eyes off of him. No one could have told the story better than Uncle Ben. Chris then talked about the true meaning of Christmas and we again, listened to the talk given by President Uchtdorf at the Christmas Devotional. The spirit of Christmas could not have been stronger in our little home and I am just grateful that I was able to spend it with so many people that we love and care about.

Halloween 2010

I think every year as the kids get older the holidays get better, and better. This year was so much fun getting ready for Halloween. Chase has been in loved with the Chipmunks all year so it was only fitting that they be the Chipmunks. He really wanted me to dress up as the girl chipmunk Brittany, but I I thought is anyone even going to know who I am? I guess I could have done it to humor him. There is always next year, right? Is it sad that I already know what we are going to do?
Well Halloween itself was lame....RAIN, RAIN, and RAIN!

Needless to say the weather was not cooperating, but we got dressed anyway, and suited up to get out and hit the streets. We are soup and LOTS of goodies and right when we were about to go out the rain stopped. It could not have worked out more perfect! Chase and Ry hit the streets hard, and once Grant figured out what was going on he was trying to keep up with them as well. I was suprised at how he just got it, but he would run up to the door, point to his little bucket and squeal something that I believe to be the word "TREAT" I was so cute and he was so excited! I loved it! It could not have been a more perfect Halloween and we are still on the biggest sugar high from it! Here are a few pics to document the day!

16 Months Old

Well I have got to get back my blogging! I don't know why, but I have been horrible at it latley. So what the heck....Time to catch up! Our little Grant is 16 months old....He is growing up so fast I can hardly believe it. He really is a little chatter box. I don't know if he loves to hear himself talk or just has a lot to say, but he is constantly jabbering. Some words I can pick out, others....well not so much. He just has the cutest little personality and a lot of it. He loves to cuddle and gives hugs, but does not like when Chase is in his face. Chase on the other hand loves his little brother and would kiss on him all the day long if Chase would allow it. But as usual Grant will give his high pitch squeal and will now even push Chase off of him. He is quite or little helper too, he get his own diapers,a nd throws things away, and actually likes to dump things just so he can pick it up. Within the last 2 days he has dumped a box of Captain Brunch, bag of Teddy Grahams and today Cheese Nips. I keep telling Chase he cannot pull those things out and leave them around, but I think they both secretly love the vacuum since I have to pull it out 2 or 3 times a day! Grant is the best sleeper, eater, and napper. He really is just an easy going little guy. He is feisty, but I don't mind it so much, I kinda think that it is cute!He loves to point at everything and has to make comments on it.....The big one he squeals is "GOOK" (look).

Words he is saying: Gook (look), Good, Chase, Momma, Daddy, Boobers, Ma Ba (Blanket), Was dis?(whats this), Was dat (Whats Dat), Yum, Hi, Car, and of course he makes lots of animals noises...barking like a dog, mooing and more! He is just so smart already and catches on to everything so quick. We love him so much and could not imagine like witout his sweet smile and his chuuby little legs!

Grants 1 Year Check Up!

Well it is that time again! Time for the BIG check up, shots, and see how our little guy is doing. It was a lot of fun because instead of taking Chase with me this time I got take Grandaddy with us! Grant as always was very active and wanted to touch everything and be everywhere. He had great stats and the doctor was AMAZED by one of his little tricks.....HE SNAPS! Yep...Crazy I know! He loves to snap, and a little sound comes out as well when he is snapping. The doctor said he had amazing small dexterity and he had never seen a baby at that age snap. This guy always amazes me with what he can do with his little fingers and snapping at such an early age was one of them. He weighed in great, height was great, and he was right on track for where he needed to be. I would not think of anything less for my little chubby Gerber baby! Love him! The only part that I did like of course was the shots! He was not happy with them and I thought he may pass out for how long he held his breath after that first one! Too bad he is too cute to resist even when he is crying. Just made me want to cuddle him more!

Today Grant is one year old. I can hardly believe how fast the times goes. It was just yesterday that we brought this little guy home from the hospital! He has definitely brought a lot of spunk into our family and has made us complete for the time being. He is such a happy little guy and I have gotten many comments that he should be a Gerber baby. I honestly cannot say that I disagree. He really is the cutest thing with his chubby little cheeks, pouty lips and big brown eyes! Although he is a little chub he has started to thin out considerably. He is now walking and although unsteady has really just gotten up and taken off today! He is quite the determined little guy and when he wants something will let you know with a little grunt or squeal. Although he does have a little feisty side to him, he really is the most loving little guy! He is contantly blowing kisses , and waving to people every chance that he gets. He loves to jabber and talk all day long and although I cannot pick out everything he is saying there is a few things that I can get out of his little vocabulary that he is starting to form. He loves to dance, loves balls, and LOVES his momma. He is for sure a mommas boy and loves to cuddle with me every chance that he gets.

Chase and Grants "Big Top Carnival"

Well watch out because I as am sure this is picture overload, but this past weekend we celebrated the boys birthday by having a "Big Top Carnival" party! I had tons of fun planning it and since the boys birthdays are so close together we decided to combine the big event. Chase turned 3 on the 8th, and Grant will be 1 on the 30th. With all the rain I was nervous that we may get a little but we had pretty good weather other than the dang Traverse Mountain winds that caused a few problems with decorating, but in the end it all worked out. Of course there are things that I would have done differently, but hey I am no party planner and am excited with all the fun things we had. We had a cotton candy machine, pop corn machine, bounce house, and LOTS of candy!

It was a great day and I just hope my boys loved it! I know I had a good time!

I know I have said it over and over, but I am just so blessed that they were sent to us. Although some days they drive me crazy, the happiness TOTALLY out weighs all the silly days that I want to pull my hair out! They do and say the cutest things and know how to put and instant smile on my face and I only hope that I do the same for them!

Jackson Hole and Yellowstone

While my parents were in town we decided to get out of town, since I was not laid up with just having a baby. So we packed our bags and headed to WY for a little time in Jackson and Yellowstone! It was a great trip and we were all able to ride together so that made it even more fun! The boys did pretty good on the way up and once we got into town we headed to the Bar J Wranglers for a little dinner show. It was awesome! My dad loved it, and Chase loved it! It was a great start to the weekend. The next day we decided to head to Yellowstone and see some sites. Although I love Yellowstone, I don't know how much Grant loved driving all day! He did pretty good for awhile, but let us know when he was done here and there! So on that note...I don't think I will be driving the kids around Yellow Stone until they are a little older. I guess 2 full days in the car for them was just a little too much!

June 18-21 2010

3 Year Check Up!

We headed to the doctor this week for Chases third year check up! For some reason I thought we were going to get out of there without having to get shots, but unfortunately the little guy had to get 2! He did so good and as usual the doctor only had good things to say about him. He said he is very bright for his age, and was very impressed that he had potty trained so early! (I just keep thinking I cannot imagine changing a diaper on him...Gross!) He is growing big and strong and I am just so proud of him. My favorite part was that he invited Dr. Wilcox to his birthday! So cute....and as always so friendly! I still cannot believe that he is 3....

Ry came along with us and was moral support for when the shots came! He did so cute on this little test and this is where they were so impressed because he answered everything and did everything they said. I guess at this age sometimes it is hard to listen and sit still.....(Wait I feel like it is that way at every age!)First time getting blood pressure taken!He is all smiles now, but little does he know the nurses are coming back to stick his legs!

Third Birthday

Chases third birthday was a lot of fun! We tried to make the day all about him, and he totally knew it and was eating up every piece of attention all day long! He and Grant are getting there BIG PARTY in a couple of weeks, but we decided we would do something small for our little guy to let him know how much we love him! It was a fun day! And YES he wore the party hat ALL DAY LONG! It got a lot of HAPPY BIRTHDAYS from strangers and and old man even sang to him at Winco! (Like I said he was eating it all up!)

3 Years Ago Today....

3 Years Ago.....One of the best things ever happened to me, I became a MOM! Not only did I become a mom, but I became a mom to the sweetest, cutest, most precious guy I know. Really...I am not just saying these things to say them, they are true. I can honestly say that I have been blessed over and over since the day that Chase Victor Cameron entered our lives! He has truly made me want to be a better person, friend, wife, and most of all mom. I never knew someone so young could make me want to be so much more....Hey aren't I the teacher? Honestly I cannot imagine a day without this little guy. I love that every morning when he wakes up (which is way to early) he climbs into the bed with me and tells me that he loves me. That is probably the best wake up call ever! I love that as soon as he tells me he loves me and gives me a kiss on the nose that he runs into Grants room (Once he hears that he is awake) and hops in the crib with him and plays with him, and I can hear his sweet little voice tell Grant that he loves him. It is so cute to hear the two of them already giggle and talk to each other and I just know that are going to be the best of friends. BROTHERS! I am already so excited for the adventures that these two will go on! Since it is my little guys BIG BIRTHDAY TODAY, I think I will just make a list of things I love about him. I know that I can go on, and on.....But hey this is my blog, my memories, and things I hope that he will read one day so that he knows how much his mommy loves him!
Promise I will stop before too long, but I will just put the most important things. :)

I love his prayers. They are so sweet and innocent, and I love that he feel the freedom to pray about anything. (Today for his example was that he would get to ride his bike outside)
He is so sweet and sensitive. I honestly do not think they get any sweeter than this. He is constantly telling me how much he loves me and giving me hugs and kisses.
I love that he wants to make us so happy! He really is a little pleaser and does not like to get in trouble. One day while I was in the shower I guess he had gotten into the milk to pour himself a glass of course. Well he came into the bathroom and said, "Mom I went to get me some milk, and I spilled it, but I cleaned it up and already went to time out. Sure enough when I got into the kitchen towels were laid out everywhere and the floor had been cleaned.
I think it is so cute that he loves to clean. He always if offering to help clean things around the house and LOVES to vacuum and dust. And tries to make his bed of course, that will take some time to perfect!
I love that he loves hanging out with "friends" He is such a social little guy and would love to be outside all day if he could playing with the kids on the street. He seriously sometimes waits at the window just so he can tell me when he sees the first kids head out of there house. He really is a good friends, and plays so nice with all the kids!
I love how much he loves music, and how great of rhythm he already has at only 3 years old. He can tap his feet to the rhythm of just about any song that comes on and is always asking meto turn up the music and play it louder. He is constantly walking around the house either singing or humming. Most times is is, Follow the Prophet, or a song from the Squequel (The Chipmunks)
I think it is so cute how excited he gets when Chris comes home. As soon as he hears the garage door opening he races to the door screaming, "My Daddy is Home!" He is always so excited to tell Chris about his day and cannot wait to hug and wrestle with him. These two have such a special relationship and I know that it will only get stronger with time. I just love it!
I love the Chase also wants to do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING Chris is doing. I know that it is a boy thing, but nothing is cuter that a boy following there dad around and wanting to be just like them weather it be fixing something, mowing the lawn ,or just watching TV with there feet up!
I think that it is so cute and funny that Chase can say "S", but just not at the beginning of a word. It makes some of the things that he says so cute and so funny!
I love that he can eat a half bucket of a large pop corn when he goes to the movies. He is like a bottomless pit when it comes to pop corn, and fruit snacks!
I love that he carries his little phone and chap stick with him in his poackets all the time and has numerous conversations through out the day with Chris Aunt Melissa, and Grami Cami!

I really could go on and on about how this little guy makes me so happy! He truly loves life and makes everyone around him so happy!I am just glad that he was sent to Chris and I and that he is such a good example to us!

I am so happy that spring/summer is FINALLY here and that we are able to take advantage of some outside time. We have been taking walks, playing outside, going to the pool, watching thunder storms, having block parties, and just spending time together as a family. I am loving it and just so happy that we can go outside! SO fun! Chase started his little summer pre school today and loves it! He only goes one day a week for 2 hours, but thinks it is just the greatest! Today the learned about the letter I, and talked about INSECTS! I am so happy that he is such a social guy and just loves doing ANYTHING! Grant and I of course ran to WINCO to go take advantage of some deals......and I Have to admit it was great to spend a little one on one time with him! Here are just some pics of our last week!

Memorial Day

This Memorial Day Chris headed to the motorcycle races, and the boys and I headed over to Aunt Melissa's for a little time in the sun and swimming. The sun was not what we expected. I was thinking it was going to be 80 degree weather and lots of sun. Instead the sun was hidden by the clouds and the wind made it a little cooler than we hoped for. That did not stop us though! Chase was SO excited for the pool and put his float on and jumped in before I even knew it. He pretty much stayed in the pool the WHOLE time. Grant loved it to! We put him in his float and he splashed around and loved every minute....other than when I took him out! What can I say, I have little water babies! It was a great time though and I am excited to have more pool time this summer with the boys! They really are the ones who makes it so much fun!

1 1Months Old

Today Grant is 11 months old! I can hardly believe that he has been here that long and next month we will be celebrating his first birthday! I am seriously so excited! He has been such a great baby. He smiles, and talks constantly, but will also let you know when he is unhappy by letting out a little scream. He really only cries when he is hungry and ready for bed, or just wants to be held by his momma! He also lets out LOUD SCREAMS when he feels like Chase is in his space. He is just coming a live more and more every day. I love the little sounds that he makes, and all the things that he is now trying to do. He really does not like shoes, and takes them off anytime I put them on, but as soon as he takes them off he always tries to put them back on.....(So cute!) He also wipes his face and table with a wipe when he is done eating. And of course as soon as he is done wiping he tries to eat it. This kid has quite the appetite and will eat anything you put in front of him. Really it is just getting it to him fast enough. He now has 8 teeth, and shows them off with his cute smiles every chance that he gets. He is not walking quite yet, but walks everywhere...if that makes sense. He is really just working on a little balance and I think he will have it down! I honestly cannot not say enough about how much I love him. His little sounds just make me smile. I love every morning that Chase goes into his room and crawls into the crib with him and they will sit in there for about 15 minutes just talking and laughing. I am so excited to see there relationship grow more and know that these two are going to have a lot of fun with each other, and probably get in a lot of trouble together in the future! I really am the luckiest mom in the world and am so grateful for both of my boys!

"Nature Walk"

For Family Night we headed up the canyon for a little Subway, and as Chase likes to call it a "Nature Walk" It was such a great night to be out there and enjoying the fresh air and just hanging out together. Chase was a little sad that we did not build a fire like all the other people around us, but got pretty excited at the numerous bugs that he saw during our walk!

Well Chase and Grant got and EARLY birthday gift this year! Grami Cami had been eying a jeep or some type of motorized car for Chase. If anyone knows Chase he is just like every little boy and just like his Daddy....He loves cars, bikes, motorcycles, 4 wheelers.....You name it he wants to drive it! So when Grandma saw this FORD F 150 she couldn't help herself, she just had to get it. We tried to convince her to wait to give it to him for his birthday, but just like all of us she was way to excited and could not wait to see Chase in his new ride.

(I have to admit.....it is SUPER CUTE!)

Today we headed to Baby Animal Day, with Amy, Rylee, and Melissa. It is becoming quite a tradition and something that we have done the past few years. It is always fun to see all the cute baby animals and take advantage of spring. FUN! Can't wait until next year!

Well since the sun was out, and so were the Tulips we decided to hit the Tulip Festival and take advantage of the weather while we still had our Thanksgiving Point Pass. With this crazy weather the tulips were only about 50% in bloom, but it still was a great time getting outside and taking advantage of the weather!

Grant is 9 MONTHS OLD.....Serioulsy where has the time gone? I cannot believe how fast my little guy is growing up and what a cutie he is! He has the cutest little smile with the BIGGEST chicklet 2 front teeth! I honestly just need to get a pic of them so we can remember how cute and how big they are. Although he has rolls everywhere he has really started to thin out a little, and FINALLY on May 30 moved from his army crawl to a full on crawl. With so many people here I did not get those first moves on video, but he is everywhere now and loves the freedom to be able to get over to me even faster. Although Grant is a social little guy he definitely is a MOMMAS BOY! He loves to be with me, and is like a little Koala bear the way that he hold on to shirt. (I really think it is so cute!) The doctor only had good things to say about my little guy. Grant of course wanted to stand a lot, and the Dr Wilcox was very impressed with his strength. I was impressed at when he got his toe pricked that he did not even cry, just held on to me, like my little koala! He really is such a cutie, and I am so grateful for this little guy. It really has been so cute seeing the relationship of him and Chase and watching it grow and them just becoming little friends. The funny thing is Grant is a little feisty and if he does not want Chase around him, and lets out a little screetch and lets us know! He waves at EVERYONE and claps and dances at every opportunity. He is a pretty happy guy, and really the only downside is that he still wakes up once a night here and there! He is pretty easy to get back down though....just give him a little food and he goes right back to sleep! Look at those 2 front teeth! Yep, I asked...they are no adult teeth...just REAL BIG baby teeth!

Vics Funeral

Today was Vic's Funeral. It was a pretty cold day, with wind, yet little breaks of the sun here and there. The funeral was perfect. The music, the talks, and the spirit were so strong and I know that Vic was there listening to all the great words that were said about him. Again tears were shed, but a lot of laughs as well, as people reminisced on stories from there childhood and life with Vic Cameron. I can honestly say in these past few weeks that I have felt closer to him and feel that as I have gotten to know him more! He was buried with military honors, and it was such a great experience to see it take place and the perfect burial for a man who was as patriotic as Vic was. I only hope that my boys can live up to the great person that there Grandpa Vic was and will make him proud.

Easter Sunday- General Conference Sunday

Today was Easter Sunday. It was a little bit of a different Easter Sunday for many reasons.....First, instead of Church we had General Conference. (So no cute Easter Outfits) And secondly, we had Vics viewing the evening of Easter Sunday. It really was a great Easter Sunday. Brad and Jenny were staying with us, and it was so much fun to wake up and see the kids play with the Easter baskets. Chase was so tired that it took him a few minutes to realize what was going on, but was super excited when he saw a basket full of treats! After easter baskets we got started on breaskfast. Ted, and Sara and the kids, and Melissa headed over and we watched General Conference and had a great breakfast. There were a lot of great messages given and it was good to spend time with the family. After General Conference we headed over to Carolyn's to spend time with the family and have a little dinner before we headed to the viewing.

On March 29, Chris dad passed away. It was a sad day, but one that was expected. Although there were a lot of tears shed many of them were tears of happiness as well. Vic had not been himself for many years, and had been in the Veterans Home for extra care. It has been so great as the family has gotten together to hear stories of when he was a child, son, husband, and dad. I never really knew the same Victor that so many knew, but I know that he was an amazing man that had a strong testimony of the gospel and only wish that I had a chance to talk with him and get to know a little bit of the man that everyone knew. I am glad that Chase was able to spend so much time getting to know Grandpa Vic and spending time with him at the VA.

Obituary- Victor James Cameron1945 ~ 2010

Our beloved Victor James Cameron, 64, passed away peacefully and returned to his heavenly home on March 29, 2010, from complications due to dementia. He was born Aug. 25th, 1945 in Bremerton, Washington, to Genevieve Bell Mulder and Joseph Cameron. His boyhood years were spent growing up with brothers and sisters in Missoula, Montana, enjoying all that the great outdoors had to offer.

He attended Montana University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then received a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska. During this time he began his 6 years of service in the US Air Force. He was stationed at Tainan AFB, Taiwan for two years as a Captain. He married and had a daughter, Michelle and was later divorced. He then met and married Carolyn Gilmore and gained a son, Theodore James whom he adopted.Together they melded their families and were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.They rejoiced in adding three other children, Jennifer, Benjamin and Christopher, to their family. Victor and his sweetheart Carolyn were married for 34 years.

Victor was an entrepreneurial business man, owning and operating three Mayflower moving and storage companies in and around the Kansas City,Missouri area. Upon moving his family to Utah, he owned and operated Heritage Medical Equipment Company.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn his son Ted Cameron (Sara), daughter Michelle Cameron Donaldson (Neal), daughter Jennifer Cameron Udvardy (Brad),son Benjamin Cameron, and son Christopher Cameron (Jennifer), brothers John Cameron and Richard Horton, and 9 beautiful grandchildren. He was precededin death by his parents and two sisters Betty Cantrell and Madelyn Caudill.Vic was a man of great integrity, spirituality, strength and devotion to his family. He loved his faith and served valiantly in numerous church callings.His family would like thank the nurses, care givers and staff at The Utah State Veteran's Nursing Home, for their respectful care and treatment of all veterans.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 5th, at the Orem Utah Northridge Stake Center, 1674 North 200 West. Viewings will be held on Sunday, April 4th, from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646East 800 North, Orem, Utah and from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services.Burial will be held at The Veterans Memorial Park Cemetery, 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah, with full military honors.Condolences may be sent to the family at: www.walkerfamilymortuary.com

Ski Weekend with the Family

This weekend we headed up to Big Sky, Montana for a ski weekend. We packed up the kids and the car, and met up with Ted and his family and after a short trip to the Del Taco were off! It was our first “BIG” road trip with the kids, so I was very interested to see how they did. To my surprise, they were great. It was a great trip up and seemed to go by really fast. When we got to Michelles she had yummy dinner prepared of elk spaghetti. We relaxed, talked, and got the kids to bed to prepare for the nest day of skiing.

The next day we were up early and ready to go! We headed for breakfast at the lodge and then started our morning at the magic carpet with the kids, and of course for me. We all know, I have only been skiing once and it was 2 years ago, so I was a beginner all over again. The kids did a great job! I was so impressed with all of them. And they were all beating me down the magic carpet hill in no time. I was so proud of Chase. He had no fear and went down the hill a few times with Chris and Aunt Michelle and then was going down by himself. He loved it, and kept saying, “I am skiing at the Olympics!” Who knows maybe he will some day! (Wink, Wink) After a while the “REAL SKIERS”, which included Colby and Shelby were off for some real skiing and I stayed at the magic carpet hill with the kids for awhile. Then we went to the kids section, 20 Below, for some games and lunch! It was an amazing place made just for kids, and of course they could not get enough. There was a diner, basketball, a rock climbing wall, movie theater, game room, and a craft room. It was a kids heaven…and they mainly spent the rest of there day there playing and wearing themselves out! I headed back for a little more skiing, and upgraded from the magic carpet area to the bunny hill. I was pretty impressed at my skills and even got turns down! It is not easy for a person my age to pick up a skill this late in life. We went back relaxed a little and then headed to Choppers for dinner!

The next morning we woke up again for yet, another day of skiing. We headed to the lodge for breakfast, and then again we were off to the magic carpet for a little bit of skiing with the kids. Chase seemed to have a harder time today simply because he kept going right and then would start skiing backwards. He would make it down the hill everytime backwards, but it was quite comical to watch. He then headed to the bunny hill with Chris, me, and Michelle and got to ski “REAL FAST” He loved it, and loved going down with Aunt Michelle. While Chase was skiing with Aunt Michelle Chris took me to the next level of the bunny hill. It was a little more challenging for me and I know I look so silly as I snow plow the whole way down, but am glad that I got a run in with just Chris and I, even though I know he would prefer to be just skiing. After our fun little run the whole family headed up the mountain for lunch and pictures! Lunch was great, and the view was AMAZING! I have to admit those heights get to me, but to see a sight like that is worth getting over your silly fears. Again, after lunch and a few pics we headed back down with the kids and everyone else went skiing. I got a few more ski runs in only little bunny hill and enjoyed skiing with my nephew Drew….and yes he is 9! J After our day of skiing we headed back to 20 below, of course the kids were thrilled to be there and we snacked and got a movie in before heading back to the condo to get the kids to bed.

Last day…. We were all so sad to know it was our last day, but headed to have one last breakfast together and do a little tubing. Tubing was great and Chase could not get enough of it. Even Grant took a run in with Daddy! The highlight of the day was when Warren Miller came down and sat for over a half hour and talk and hung out with the family! What an amazing man! He brought books, and signed them for the kids and even let us get a few pictures in! Chris loved it because he has been a big Warren Miller fan since he was young, and I have to admit it was amazing sitting and talking with him! Then it was time to head home! Ride home was great, other than a Grant blow out! Never fun to have to fully change a screaming baby at a gas station.

We really had a great weekend and I cannot thank my sister in law Michelle enough for setting it up! She planned the whole weekend and put with our chaotic kiddos. I could not have asked for a better weekend and a better place to ski. We were set up in Big Sky, Montana at the Yellow Stone Club, and if you have not been there….IT IS AMAZING! The service was the best and once again I felt like a spoiled little girl, more than anything am glad that we got to spend the weekend together!

Thanks again Michelle for a great weekend and thanks to Carolyn for watching Grant every time I ran off to TRY to ski! Well if you made it through my whole travel log, you have really endured…now watch out because there are going to be TONS of PICTURES and VIDEOS! I cannot help it! I love pics, and I think my little guy is just so cute skiing!

8 Months Old

My little guy is 8 months old! Wow where has the time gone? It really goes by way to fast and I cannot believe how sweet this little guy is...well most of the time! He is quite the little talker and LOVES to babble. He says, "Ba, Ba", "Da, Da", "HAAAAA", and here and there I will hear a little, "Ma, Ma" Although I know he is not really putting me and the MA together. He loves to clap his hands, wave and say, "HAAAA", and bounce up and down on his bum. He is still working on the crawling and can go backwards, sideways, rolls, and inch himself a little forward, but still does not quite have it down. In fact he gets so frustrated while trying that he just starts screaming. I will come and sit him up and lays right back down on his tummy and tries again. I think his rolly tummy, is just too big to get those chubby legs under. He now has 4 teeth, 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom and working on a another one. He loves to rub his tongue on his teeth and makes the funniest faces. I tried to capture some shots of his tongue action....So cute! As you can tell this kids LOVES to eat and wants to eat and do everything that we are doing. If I am eating something he doesn't want his food, he wants what is in my hand and he will make some annoying screeches and sounds until he gets what he wants. He loves to stand and will even try to take steps while standing. I just think this little guy wants to run around with Chase so bad and gets to frustrated that he can't. He loves to SMILE and has the cutest little smiles ever! He is the easiest baby to get to laugh and to smile and Chris loves to think that he has the magic touch.....but really anyone can get this kid rolling! We are just so lucky to have him and glad that these 2 little guys get a long so well! Chase loves Grant and is my little helper and you can tell already that Grant just looks up to his big brother!

This past weekend we all felt we needed to get out of the house. With a few of us being under the weather we needed to get out and breath some fresh air (If that is possible here in Utah) It was the last day to be able to walk through the Ice Castles at Zermott so we packed th car up and were off! No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed!

I love having two little boys! These little guys already have so much fun together, and laugh and play together all the time. I just love to sit and watch Grant watch and eye Chase all the time. You can tell already he wants to be like his older brother and do everything he does. He is still working on his crawling, but wants to stand and actually tries to take steps every chance he gets. I have to keep reminding the little guy that one day he will be able to run just as fast Chase, and maybe out run him....well if he ever gets rid of all those rolls. Here are just random pics of my little guys!

Every morning and after naps Chase loves to crawl into Grants crib with him. It is so cute because I can hear the two just giggling away! They must speak a little bit of the same language!This is Grant watching Chase in his bed! He just thinks Chase is the funniest guy.This pic of Chase and his CHEESEY smile just crack me up!Grant is constantly clapping and waving....I love when he waves because he almost always say, "HAAAAAAA...." Today he offered to dust, and wiped down all the chairs, but my favorite was when he offered to feed Grant, He said, "I feed Grant Mommy, your leg hurt, go back to sleep..." So of course I had to snap a few shots! I love that he always wants to help me, he really is my BIG HELPER. He get diapers, throws the dirty ones away, after dinner his job is to wipe down the table and chairs and I just think it is so cute to watch him put so much work into wiping one chair. Or in all reality one spot of the chair over and over again. I just love him and all the help that he gives to me! Who knew that my 2 year old would be my second set of hands! Love him!These are just the cutest little guys!

Our Valentines Weekend!

We had such a great weekend! I have to admit that Valentines is not one of my favorite holidays. Maybe it started as a young girl just hoping that I would get the Valentine that I had hoped for, or the simple anxiety of just knowing that I would not be getting anything, while watching everyone around me bring home chocolates, flowers, and jewelry. I admit that having a hubby had made it more fun, but having kids has brought it to a whole new level! We spent a lot of our weekend relaxing together as a family and watching the Olympics. Chase is now SO excited for our ski weekend in March and keeps saying, "I will be Super Fast" We will see once we get him on the snow in his skis.

BOYS AND THERE TRUCKS
On Friday Chris and Chase headed to Monster Jam. Chase was SO excited! He has a few monster trucks that he is always playing with at the house and has seen them on the T.V, so knowing that he was having a fun night with his Dad, Ted, and Adam with MONSTER TRUCKS was almost more excitement then he could stand. The boys got there ear plugs some McDonalds, and then headed to the big show. Chase had a great time and has not stopped talking about it since he has been home. HE has pulled out the camera numerous times just to show me the pics, and video over and over again! What can I say....this boys LOVES trucks!
VALENTINES
I wanted to try to make Valentines last all weekend long....You know, share the love. :) On Friday we headed up to the Veterans Home to have a Valentines Lunch with Grandpa Vic. They always have such a great lunch and we had a great time. Chase helped feed Grandpa, and walked and talked to all the other residents. He is always pure entertainment when we take him there. When we got home Chase and I decorated the house for Chris with little love notes, and balloons. All the way home, Chase kept saying, "Daddy is SO going to love this!" On Friday night I headed to my friend Tatums house and we made cupcakes for my little guys! Chase was so excited when he got home, and woke up at 6am on Saturday morning and came into my bedroom letting me know he had taken care of breakfast! Yep, a 6am cupcake! We spent the day together, and then Chris and I headed for a night out on the town....Roses, Movie, and Steak and all you can eat crab legs! What more could a girl ask for! It was a prefect date night and we had so much sun spending time just together and hanging out! Sunday Morning we had breakfast, church and then I made my boy and Grami Cami a candle light dinner! It was a great day and weekend, and now we are just sitting here enjoying more olympics!

7 Months Old!

Today my little guy is 7 months old....I can hardly believe how fast the time is flying by. He is such a little Chubs and has rolls on every part of his body. It is almost amazing how crazy the rolls look, kinda like a little charpei! He is just getting cuter and cuter everyday! He loves to jabber 24/7, and he has some of the cutest little sounds, and one really annoying sound! He usually makes that one when we are driving, or sitting in church. Super Loud and really not the cutest. He is really on the move now. Not quite crawling yet, but definitely trying. He gets in the crawling position and usually pushes himself backwards. He then get frustrated and then just rolls where ever he need to go. He tends to get stuck under the table and piano bench, but lets nothing stop him from getting what he wants. He loves food and wants whatever we have in our hands. I try to give him baby food, which he will sometime take, but if we have something in our hands, that is always more tempting to him and he will grab and fuss until you break whatever it is off a little and give it to him. He has had 2 bottom teeth come in this past month, and you can see two top ones about to push through and those things are sharp, so it is always good to avoid putting your fingers in his mouth. He has also almost mastered the straw sippy cup. It has 2 uses right now....chewing and getting a little sip of water here and there.

Chase and him are the best of friends. Every morning Chase will crawl into the crib with Grant and I can hear them just giggeling away. It is always the sound that i wanted to hear and am so excited that they already love each other so much. As soon as Grant sees Chase he squeals and starts waving his arms. And Chase is always trying to make him laugh!

Chris and I headed to Mexico without the kids! YES....the kiddos stayed at home and we had a little time to relax and just spend time together! It was perfect....the views were breathtaking, the company fun, and just a perfect time to relax and spend time with Chris without any distractions. I felt a little guilty having such a great time with the kids at home, but they had a great time with Grami Cami and Aunt Melissa. Here are just a few pics of our trip!

6 Months Old

Wow! Where has the time gone? Our little guy is already 6 months old and "ALL CHUNK"! He has been the best little addition to our family and all of us are already spoiling him rotten, including his older brother Chase. Grant is definitely a Mommas Boy. He is willing to go to other people, but keeps a close eye on me when someone else has him. He still is such a happy baby, and loves to giggle and laugh and is ticklish on every roll on that chubby little body of his. Although he is pretty happy most of the time he has no problem in letting you know when he is upset or wants something. He is constantly trying to grad things, and I think just loves to hear him self make lots of noise. He loves to stand when we are holding him and when he sit and is quite the bouncer. He now has 1 tooth that has totally pushed through and 2 on the way!

I took him in for his 6 month appointment yesterday and as always was excited to see his stats, but not so excited about the shots. The doctor was asking the typical routine questions, and I told him that Grant had been pulling on his ears, but thought it was due to teething since that had been the case with Chase. I was so sad to find out that the little guy had a "severe" ear infection. Made me feel horrible. He is on antibiotics now so hopefully he will be better very soon. Other than that the doctor said he looked great and was a very strong little baby with how well he was sitting and bouncing around while sitting. I would not expect any different from our little guys! They have both been very strong babies and impress us every day!

Grants wish finally came true today when he was able to have rice cereal! This little guy has been eying our food and drinks for sometime now so this was a BIG day for him. He was very excited when he saw the spoon coming towards his face and wanted to grab it every time. In fact Grami Cami had to help by holding his hands down so we could get the food in his face because he was so excited! Nothing cuter than your little one having food for his first time!

4 Month Appointment

I can hardly believe that Grant is 4 months already he is growing so fast, and I can hardly imagine our little family before he arrived. He just completes our family! He is such a smiley, happy little guy, and I can honestly say that I have never been able to get a baby to giggle so easily. He has a a rough run with the acid reflux, but at his 4 month appointment we worked a little bit on how we would give him medicine and hopefully we will solve the problem so our little guy is not in a lot of pain! He loves to grab his feet, laugh and talk, and is working on sitting up. Every chance he gets he is grabbing my cup and trying to bring it to his mouth, and stares like at us whenever we are eating. I think it is almost time for us to try solids with him! He really is a great baby! Here are just a few pics!

I have to say that Fall is one of my favorite seasons. I love the smell in the air, and all the activities offered for families and kids. We have been trying to take advantage of what we can and staying warm at the same time. Just a few pics of what we have been doing.

Gardner Village- Take One...
Chari and I took the kids over to Gardner Village to check out the fun witches they have every where. I know we both got up early and checked the weather and were pretty confident it was going to be perfect day for an outing so off we went. Boy were we wrong. It was windy and rainy! We got a little bit of the sights in, but will have to try to get back there again before the end of the season! So heres to great company on a windy, rainy day!

We had so much fun here! Chase loved running around and doing every activity possible. The best was the how they just play in lots of corn kernals. You would be amazed at how much came out when we took him to the bathroom at the restaurant.

Here are just a few more pics of my little chubs! He is now 3 months 4 weeks old and the cutest, chubbiest thing on the block. I know...just looking at those cheeks makes you want to pinch them. How can you even resist! He loves to kick, kick, kick his feet and sit up every chance he gets whether it be in the Bumbo, in the crease of the couch, or the high chair. This past week I pulled out the exersaucer and he loves it! He is such a smiley baby, but will let you know when he is upset! Still waking up here and there in the middle of the night. Sometimes he will sleep 9 hours and I get way excited, and then the next 3 nights be up every 2 hours. (Little Stinker!) Here are just a few pics and a video of his contagious giggle! Gotta love him!

Fall Fun!

Time to play catch up! Here are just a few things going on in the life of the Cameron Family!

Grant is 3 Months Old
Grant is already 3 months old! Crazy, I know how fast the time goes by. He is getting stronger every day and is just the cutest little part of our family.
Just a few things that he likes to do:

Looks at his hands
Chews his hands
Tummy time (Lifts himself up great...so strong)
Is always trying to grab at things. (Especially Chases Lollipops)
Loves to Jabber and Giggle
Loves to sit up
Is sometime sleeping 9 hours through the night, although not consistently
Rolls over from tummy to back
Has the best set of lungs on him :)

I cannot get enough of this little guy. He seriously has the most contagious little smile, and shares it all the time.
Utah State Fair
A few weeks back we headed to the Utah County fair. I have to admit it was one of those very hot days before the cold hit and I have vowed to never go to the fair again during the day. We did have a great time though eating yummy fair food, seeing the animals, and even catching a glimpse at "the tiniest lady alive". Such a great time! I am just hoping that Grant enjoys it more next year since his way of showing enthusiasm there was screaming....and not with joy!Pumpkin Patch
Well just like others we made out way this season to the Pumpkin Patch. I love this particular one because it has pumpkins, tractors, and a little corn maze for the kids! Chase was in heaven. He grabbed his "shopping cart" wheel barrow and we were off in search for the perfect pumpkin for all of us. The next morning was like Christmas when Chase realized we still had the pumpkins from the night before and has talked about the pumpkin patch not stop since. Makes me feel good when he gets so excited about those little things. Maybe we will hit a few more pumpkin patches this season, since he is such a big fan.
Just a few randoms....
Chase Man
Like I mentioned the kids are growing up so fast. Chase is working on potty training and has pretty much got it down when we are at home. We are on day 3 with no accidents while at home. My goal was to have him potty trained by the time he was 2 1/2. That gave me until Jan to have him trained, but he has done so good on just wanting to go. I have to admit, it has been nice not having to chance a stinky diaper for him for the last week.
He loves to run in there every chance he gets, and makes sure we know he is going potty "like daddy" It is so cute and funny how little boys want to be just like there dads. He wants to do everything that Chris does. He likes to watch football with dad, tries to fix things like Chris, and if Chris is sick, Chase will say he is sick. Silly little boy! He is saying the funniest things now and makes us laugh everyday. A few of the things he is saying lately.

"So delicious!" (Thanks Amy)
"Whatch" you laughing at!"
"I so proud of me!" (After he goes potty)
During any football game he always screams "Go Cougars"
"Me a football player!" Pretty much anytime he sees this little football around the house
"Me so funny..."
"Argghhh, Me a pirate!"
"Me hunwy!" (Means he is hungry)
"Mommy, you SO funny" Yeah I get that alot! :)
After the sacrament song, "This is a great song, mommy!"

There are more, and I just can't think of them, but like many have said I need to write these little things down so I remember. He is just growing like a weed, and thanks to sesame street and super why can count to 10! (Maybe I helped a little) I just love this little guy and am so grateful that he is such a good big brother and Mommy's little helper!

Labor Day at the Zoo!

We spent our Labor Day at the Hogle Zoo last week. It so much fun to take Chase! He loved all the animals and we could not had a more perfect day together as a family!
(I recommend the bird show for all who go, it was our favorite thing about our zoo day)

Whats Been Going On????

I find it so hard to find the motivation to get on here and blog sometimes. Lame I know...Since I am always telling everyone how they need to blog so I can see pics. Well things have been going well in the Cameron Family. We have had a great summer and I have to admit I am already excited for all the fall activity's to start....What can I say, I love fall! We have been trying to get out and take in the last of the summer weather. Here are some updates on my kiddos!

Grants 2 Month Appointment
On Friday we headed to the doctor for Grants 2 month appointment. I was convinced the little guy would weigh in at about 17 lbs....Was I off! I guess those rolls and chubby tummy can be very deceiving.Weight- 12.85 lbs- 73 %tile
Height- 23.25 58 %tile

The doctor said he is right on track and looks great. He was very shocked to hear that Grant likes to roll over already from his stomach to his back and said that it was rare for a baby his age. I told him that Grant seemed to be very strong and the doctor agreed when 2 of them worked on holding him down to check hi ears. (One holding down his arms, one doing the check up) The doctor looked over at me smiled and said, "I am seriously using strength to hold him down..." What can I say, I have strong boys. They get that from there Dad and Grandpa Vic. One thing we have been struggling with Grant on is acid reflux. I was no sure if that is what it was, but the doctor confirmed it when Grant had a little episode with his reflux at the office. I guess I always thought a baby with reflux spit up lots. Grants does not spit up lots, but I guess swallows it when he does, and alot of times when he does spit up it is clear... Poor Guy! They gave him some medicine and we are noticing a difference already! He is such a cute little guy and loves to talk to us all the time and give lots of smiles. I am already so excited for him and Chase to start playing together.

Chase Man....My little Helper!
Chase has been such a great helper since his little brother has come along. He is always willing to grab me diapers, pacifiers, and blankets when I need them and he is constantly wanting to hold his brother and give him kisses. I am so glad that the transition when so smooth for him. He is talking LOTS more and saying the funniest things. The other day I was blow drying my hair. I guess he was at the bottom of the stairs yelling my name. I guess when I did not respond he decided he had to take other measures. Chris ran up the stairs and said do you hear your son? Sure enough he was saying,
"Jen, come here, show you somthing...."
Jen, what happened to mom? By that evening he had called Chris by his first name. You just can't help, but laugh when you hear something like that. He just makes us laugh every day and our silly little boy. He seems to be very obsessed with his sun glasses, flip flops, and hats and when he wakes up puts them on. He then makes his way up stairs to let me know," I'm hunwy" He always rubs his tummy to tell me that he is hungry and by the look in his eyes you would think I am starving him. He is definilty a daddy's boy and loves to do whatever Chris is doing. If Chris is working on his bike, Chase is working on his. If Chris is mowing the lawn, a little shadow follows him. You name it he does it! We just love this little guy and what a great big brother he is.

You may be asking why he is wearing a winter beanie? He just loves hats and was sweating up a storm out there...Dads little shadow.

8 Weeks Old

Grant is already 8 weeks old and wow has the time flown by! He is the cutest little guy with the chubbiest little cheeks I have ever seen. He is just like his brother and very strong. at 4 weeks old he started rolling over from his tummy to his back. This week he has not been doing it as much and I have to wonder if it because of those little rolls on his body. :)He smiles all the time and does a very good job of holding up his head already. We are so excited that we have these 2 little guys in our lives. Chase has been a great big brother and a great big helper to me. More to come....

3 Weeks Old

Our sweet little Grant is 3 already weeks old. How the time has already flown by. It seems like he has always been a part of our family, but at the same time I cannot believe it has already been 3 weeks. He is such a good little baby and has a great temperament. He is already getting rolls everywhere and I know will be our little chunky monkey before we know it. Just like Chase, he is very strong and is constantly lifting his head and moving it around so he can get a good look at what is going on. We can get a smile out of him here and there, but it may still be gas and not moms funny faces that is bringing out those cute little smiles. Unlike Chase, Grant has a good set of lungs on him and will let you know when he wants something. He is still waking up in the night, but is good about going back to sleep. Chase has been a great helper to me, and yet seems to be into everything right now. He is always wanting to hold the baby and is great at putting the pacifier in his mouth, and even helping mom give him a bottle. He has been really good at getting into things too when I am working on things for the baby. The list could go on of the things that he gets into when I am preoccupied changing a diaper, or giving a bath, but it always seems like he is trying to be a little helper. What can I say.... I have had sun lotion spray on all my tables he had a dust rag and was cleaning them and looked so proud and said, "See", lotion all over the floor, and his little naked bum cleaning the toilet with the gross toilet brush. I have to admit that one was kinda gross to see. The list could go on, but all in all I feel completely blessed! I have a great husband who has been so supportive, 2 little boys that I could not be more in love with, and great friends and family who have been over helping or offering there help every chance they get. Life does not get better than this!

Well I am finally finding a moment to get on and introduce our new little one. I can honestly say that he has not even been here a week, and I am so in love with this new little boy. He has already captured my heart when I thought there was no room left because Chase had taken it all up. It has been so fun watching Chase with Grant. He is a great big brother already and loves to hold his new baby brother every chance that he gets. I have had LOTS of help and am so grateful for all the friends and family that have been there for me the past few weeks.

My poor little Chase is allergic to peanuts...and not just peanuts, but pretty much all nuts! Poor guy! I am so sad that he will be never be able to really enjoy a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or some of my favorite candy bars. I felt bad taking him in there knowing that he would have to have the scratch test and be uncomfortable. No mom wants that for the kids, but I also felt it was necessary to see if he truly was allergic so we could take precautions. They did the test and said we would have to wait 20 minutes, but after 10 minutes they came in and saw the welts, and said they already knew he had the allergy so gave him some Benadryl so he would not be uncomfortable anymore. In other news....We had a great weekend. Considering the crummy, rainy, Saturday we had we made the best of it and had a great weekend!

First we hit the side walk chalk festival and after the drive in theater. We knew Chase would be out pretty quick and he did not disappoint. He tossed and turned for awhile, but it was fun to get out and relax and watch a movie.On Saturday we woke up to rain and storms...Shocker! So we decided to hit the Lehi indoor pool. Chase loved it and went down lots of slides and had fun with his Dad at the pool!Last, but not least we had a great Fathers. We spent the day together and up to SLC to visit with Chris dad at the Veterans home. Chase is so lucky to have such a good Daddy and example in his life. He looks forward to when Chris comes home every day, and I always have to keep Chase up for Chris if he is comes home late or he will wake Chase up just so he can spend time with him....and I love it! Nothing makes a wife and mom more happy than seeing that relationship! Thanks Chris for being such a great Dad and husband! We are so lucky to have you!

Only 11 Days to Go!

Well we are really at the count down now with only 11 days to go before our sweet little guy gets here! The doctor actually talked about moving my c-section up one more day today, but I am hoping for the 30th! Things are going great and I feel great other than being tired, but that is ok...I deserve to be a little tired, especially with a little guy who randomly likes to get up in the middle of the night just to say "HI". I think I finally nipped that one in the bud by taking the night light out if his room. I think he may have just thought it was morning, but we shall see. Other than lack of sleep from my silly aching hips things are great, and I feel great! These aching hips just make me feel like I am getting old....WAIT I AM! Gotta love it I guess!

We are so excited for our little guy to get here and so excited for Chase to be big brother. He really is the sweetest little guy any parents could ask for and I only hope he rubs off on his little brother! We will keep you informed of when our little guy gets here, but thought I would give just a little update!

My Baby is Two....and lots of other fun!

I cannot believe how fast these past 2 years have gone by! Last Monday my little guy turned 2! I have to say it is a little bitter sweet for me and I would lie if I said, I did not cry about it! I am so happy that my little guy is growing up and learning new things every day, but am so sad that I am losing the baby and he is turning into this little boy. I could have not asked for a better baby, and little boy. He has certainly brought more joy than I thought one little guy could do and I look forward to these next few years seeing him grow up even more! He enjoys pretty much everything, and helps me to see all the little things that I have to be grateful for as well. Thanks Chase for making us so happy!

We decided just to have a little family party this year so on Sunday, Chases cousins came over along with his Aunt and Uncles, and Grami Cami! We celebrated by making homemade pizzas. I don't know who enjoyed making the pizzas more.....Chris or the kids! It was a great day though

On Monday, I did my best to make the whole day about Chase....(which I feel like I have been doing this whole last month. :) We started off with a yummy pancake breakfast, and then had bubble and dance time. (Chase loves music and bubbles....so why not combine them) Cash Baadsgaard came over in the afternoon and then we headed to farm country to see all the animals. The boys loved it, and loved the lollipops even more that they got to snack on in the car afterward. We then headed home for nap time and relaxed a little. When Chase woke up from his nap Chris was home so we decided to give him his bike....Chris and Chase both put i together and then spent the rest of the night outside on it!

The dreaded appointment to the doctor for shots and all that fun stuff....went good! Chase had a little melt down about the shot this time, but the melt down really began when when he ripped the band aid and saw the blood. Thanks Chase for making us so happy!</div><div style="text-align: center;">We decided just to have a little family party this year so on Sunday, Chases cousins came over along with his Aunt and Uncles, and Grami Cami! We celebrated by making homemade pizzas. I don't know who enjoyed making the pizzas more.....Chris or the kids! (Chase loves music and bubbles....so why not combine them) Cash Baadsgaard came over in the afternoon and then we headed to farm country to see all the animals. The boys loved it, and loved the lollipops even more that they got to snack on in the car afterward. We then headed home for nap time and relaxed a little. When Chase woke up from his nap Chris was home so we decided to give him his bike....Chris and Chase both put i together and then spent the rest of the night outside on it! I guess we needed Melissa there making LOTS of weird noises<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7LrsSBMtN_M/SjWAi8X_kyI/AAAAAAAACAs/82cKgNofPSY/s1600-h/DSC07002.JPG"></a>Chases New Bike...One of many gifts!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7LrsSBMtN_M/SjWA8VdNMkI/AAAAAAAACA0/j2ECf75g-Lw/s1600-h/DSC07010.JPG"></a> CHASES 2 YEAR APPOINTMENT The dreaded appointment to the doctor for shots and all that fun stuff....went good! Chase had a little melt down about the shot this time, but the melt down really began when when he ripped the band aid and saw the blood. You would have thought he had never seen blood before from the reaction. He is growing strong and right on track. We take him this next week to see and allergist to see if he has a peanut allergy! I am crossing my fingers that it is a little bit of an intolerance, but from the sounds of the doctor was pretty confident it was a peanut allergy! :( Poor guy...if so he is going to miss out on the ultimate kid food, peanut butter and jelly! OUR WEEKEND
And last, but not least we had a GREAT weekend! Chris was supposed to head out on a bike trip, but it was canceled. Although I was sad for him that it was canceled because he was so bummed, we made the best of the weekend and had a lot of fun spending time together as a family. Chase and I woke up early Saturday morning (wait we always wake up early) and we headed to get Daylight Donuts for Chris to cheer him up. It worked! Chase was going to go to the zoo, but the weather looked like it was not going to work so we decided to head to the dunes with Kelly and Rach! It was a great time! There were a few showers there, but all in all it was a great time! Chase had tons of fun wearing the helmet and taking rides with his Dad....Although I am excited for our little bundle of joy to arrive I love the time that we are spending together right now with the 3 of us!

Chase wanted to wear this helmet 24/7...Just like his Daddy!Rach and Melissa getting there bike lessons....really both of them were off in like 2 minues! Rach even did a wheelie to show off her skills! ;)Wathching the boys on Sand Mountain Chris even took me for a ride in the razor! He said he had to take it easy though...no labor for me yet! :)We had a great time! Thanks Kelly and Rach we are already excited to go back out!

And least, but not least on Sunday we headed up to the Veteran home to have church with Vic and visit for a minute. Afterwards we headed to temple square to take in the nice weather we were having since we knew thunderstorms were coming in the later afternoon!

I do not know how time goes by so fast and me not posting, but it seems to just have flown by! This past month has been great! We have been doing so many little things and having LOTS of fun with this great weather! We are going to take it in as much as we can before I am laid up for a few weeks with the new baby!

Mothers Day!
We had a great Mothers day this year! Chris got us a family pass to Thanksgiving Point so of course we started using it right away! First stop was the Dinosaur Museum! Every time we drive by Chase would point at the big dinosaur on the side of the building and growl. So we knew it was time to take him and let him experience what it was all about it! He loved it and just ran around and did every activity he could. I am sure we will spend LOTS of time there this next year.

I think we wore Chase out with all the walking he was doing he he fell asleep right on Chris shoulders! Silly boy! Kids can really fall asleep anywhere!

Chase has been to the Tulip Festival before with Char, Melissa and Michelle. I think they must have ade him take a lot of pics because as soon as we walked in he stood in front of the flowers and said, "Cheese"As many of you may know, Chris dad is now at the Utahs Veterans Home. We try go and see him every few weeks and Chase is always a big hit with all the residents there. He is a very social little guy and makes his rounds saying hello and patting them all on the hands. It is so cute! When we get there though he always finds grandpa and gives him a big hug! These two guys have there own special realtionship that none of us understand, but puts a smile on our face. The hug this particular day lasted about 2 minutes!Well, Melissa 30 birthday has came and gone! Of course it was a great excuse for us to take a little girls trip...so off we went to St. George. It was a short yet perfect weekend of laying out, getting pedicures, movies, food, and friends!

They hit the childrens Discovery Gardens at Thankgiving Point, got haircuts, went to the park, ate Del Taco and got lots of little things done around the house. Since Chase had such a great time at the Discovery Gardens I took him there yesterday again to play in Noahs Ark. What a great little place for kids....and so close! We will be there a lot this summer!Chase loves the fish no matter how murky the water!There are a lot of fun activities for the kids to do there, but this was by far Chases favorite. I think he could have sat here for hours playingThere is so much more I could post, but wow this has gotten WAY TOO LONG! I just need to keep up on doing it ever week! We have had a great month and are looking forward to June and spending a lot of time with Chase before the new little one arrives. We are so excited for this new little boy in our lives, but will miss all this one on one time we have had with the little guy who has been the center of our lives for the past 2 years!
June 30th is the big day so we are going to live up all the summer fun we can until then!

Since I have been pregnant I have had a super big addiction to cheese puffs! Gotta love them! Well one night while watching the office they showed cheese balls....and then I remembered how much I used to love those Planters Cheese Balls that came in the blue container with the orange lid. I was on a mission, but one that would end in disappointment. Planters does not make them anymore! Can you believe it? I have since written them a comment letting them know that they have to bring them back because they are just that good. Haven't gotten any replies though....Crazy pregnant people!

I have found replacements, but nothing that has tasted as good at the ones that Planters made. Anyone miss them as much as I do, or is this just my pregnant cravings going into overdrive?

Michelle came out this week to visit with little Aubree. It was a lot of fun to have them here! We just hung out ate and ate some more! Thanks for coming out guys! We miss you already!
