Baby Animal Day!

On Saturday we took Chase over to Baby Animal Day at Thanksgiving Point. It was a little windy, but all the baby animals were out just the same and so cute! I do not know who liked it more....me or Chase! He was super cute though, as we walked around he would just stare down the animals and then clap his hands. All in all it was a lot of fun. I think next year we will just get there earlier so we miss the rush. After that we headed to Burger King and has some lunch! It was a great family day and we had a good time!

(Also on another note, Friday I took Chase to the Living Aquarium off of 106th. I was very unhappy with the experience there and would not recommend that anyone go because I feel as if it were a waste of money. We paid $8 to see 2 rooms of fish. Chase gets more excited when I take him to Cabellas! I did ask for a refund, but they said, "No can do...." So the only think I can do now is tell you all to not waste your money! :)
Chase Trying to Pet the Minature Horse
Look at this huge sheep. I think they fed it tons just so it would not move. As you can tell this is not one of the babies.
This was the cutest little baby goat I have ever seen. I asked if Chris if I could have one, but that is a negative. I am not sure him and Boobers would get along so well. Daddy and Chase checking out the horse.
Afterwards we hit the Burger King to try out the new Steak House Burger...It was a winner, and Chase was the King of the table! He even got a fry to go with his black beans, corn, and peaches.

Cutest Baby Contest

A few weeks ago I went to the Baby Expo in South Town and entered Chase in the Baby contest. I had no idea when we went there was even a contest, but Bounce Photography (which is a great photographer) was taking the photos and you would get a 9x9 just by entering your child in. So I said what the heck....let's get a 9 month pic of you! I have to admit the pics were SO cute! I would have posted them on the site already, but do not have hard copies that I can scan in yet, and was not able to copy and paste the pics from the website! Today we just found out that he was one of there winners though! Here is a pic that I was able to copy from the site! Just another proud Mommy moment that I thought I would share!

A few of my favorite things...

Well...Here are a few pics from the last couple of weeks!

For the past few weeks, every chance Chase get he does this little move. He will be crawling or walking around and then he will just get in this fun little yoga position and start laughing. I probably have over 15 pics just of this move since he does it so much ...so I had to share!
This past weekend Chase has been pretty grumpy. I think it was a combination of a little cold and a molar coming in. I decided to take him home from church a little early because he was in major need of a nap. I laid him down when I got home and then went to go and get some Tylenol and by the time I came back in he was out...with hit feet up! I thought it was the cutest! He loves his nap time!

After Chase woke up from his nap we gave him an Otter Pop and he LOVED IT!

Chase loves to play the piano with Chris every chance he gets. I always love that he makes noises while playing. It makes me think he is singing.

More Pics...

Here were the other pics of Chase that I wanted to post for his 9 month post, but did not have the camera. As you can see Chase is curious about everything One day Chris and I were in the bedroom and I could hear Chase just giggeling. I was wondering what he thought was so funny. Well....we walked into the bathroom and this is what we saw. The first pic isn't the greatest, but it sums up how happy he was in the bathroom just pulling that toilet paper off the roll! And of course here he is in the laundry. I usually try to fold it when he is taking a nap, but on the particular day decided I would do it while e watched Baby Einstien. I guess the laundry was a lot more interesting.

Card Club is Back!

Last night our Card Club was back up and running. The last few months have been a little crazy and we have not been able to get together, but last night we were able to meet again! I really had forgotten how much I missed it. We had so much fun and had a lot of talking to catch up on! Hey we are girls what do you expect! This time we had thankyou cards from last month and recipe cards! They were all so cute! I always love when I look in my recipe box and see cute recipe cards, and I just love new recipes! Here are some of the cards from the evening. I would post them all if I could because they are so cute, but here are a few to show you how creative everyone in our group is!

10 Months Old

Chase turned 10 months old today! All I have to say is my baby is not a baby anymore. He seems more like a toddler the way he acts, and gets around now. Kinda sad! But hey he is still my baby boy and I love him to death! He is getting around more and more and has taken a total of 19 steps...I know it is pathetic how we count them, but it is so cute to see him walk around with that little body and those little legs. He loves to blabber all day long. The main words would have to be.....

*ba, ba, ba: translation- Bottle, boobers, Baby....At least anytime he sees any of those that is what he says
*hu-buh-buh: translation- I just really think he likes the sounds of this one. Usually when he is taking a bath he will spit this one out.
*ma ma: translation- He has only really said this a couple of times, but I love to hear it and usually am working on him saying this

Alot of times when the music is playing now he will do this thing where he is just making funny sounds. I really think that he thinks he is singing, and it is so cute. Anytime we are in the car you are sure to hear this cute little sound. He pretty much will eat anything, other than yogurt. His favorite foods lately though have been peaches, pears, strawberries, cheese potatoes, and fettuccine Alfredo. I mean really he eats anything, but if he sees you pull this out he gets real excited. He currently has 7 teeth and another one is cutting through right now, although it has not popped up yet. He is just a cutie and makes a laugh everyday. He is a great baby, and I have been very blessed! He is always making the funniest noises and sounds and loves to just be with people. I look forward to the next few months to see what is in store. He is into so much already, and I know he will only get more curious!
Here are just a few pics from this last month! I have a cute one of him taking all the toilet paper off the roll in the bathroom, but do not have my camera so will have to post that another time

Happy Anniversary!

Today Chris and I are celebrating our 3 year anniversary! It seems just like yesterday we were dating, and married, and now we have our little family! I have to admit this has been the best three years of my life...it has not been without the usual trials and experiences that come with any relationship and marriage, but I can honestly say I cannot imagine my life without my sweet husband! The past three years have been great, we have been able to spend so much time together and travel, and just have fun, but the greatest experience has been that of having our little one, and starting our family! I have never felt so complete in having these 2 special guys in my life, and it has all come through our marriage! There are so many things that I could say about what a great guy Chris is...He is a great husband and it has been so fun to see him as a new Daddy. It seems that Chase and the dog get a lot more cuddle time than myself, but I would not change it for the world! He is such a hard worker and does all he can to make sure that we are provided for and have the things that we need. He is always planning ahead for our future, and has such an eternal perspective on what is really important. He is helped me become a better person, and I like to think that I have done the same for him! I am so grateful for the past three years that we have been together and look forward to an eternity of laughs (even though he thinks I do not think he is funny) and tons more experiences that we can share together!
Alright enough with the cheesiness!

Just some pics of the big day......How Precious! :)First Anniversary in San Fran!
